Hi, I'm Nalain Muhammad

role := Data Science Student

I design and build data-driven systems and full-stack applications — from enterprise-pattern C#/.NET architectures to production Node.js platforms. Currently reading for a BS in Data Science at UET Lahore, and interning as a Python Programmer at DecodeLabs.

Turning requirements into working systems

I'm a Data Science undergraduate at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, with a growing focus on full-stack engineering and applied machine learning. I like taking a project from a blank file to a deployed, working product — whether that's architecting a normalized SQL Server database for a campus transport system, or shipping a live e-commerce platform for a paying client.

Outside of coursework I take on freelance full-stack projects, and I'm currently a Python Programming Intern at DecodeLabs, focused on backend engineering, programmatic data management and logic verification. I'm based in Lahore, Pakistan, and open to internships, freelance work and data-focused roles.

May 2026 – Jul 2026 · Freelance client project
challenge

A client needed to move off static pages onto a fully dynamic, database-driven storefront — with zero tolerance for tampered prices or failed payments.

approach

Built a custom RESTful API on Node.js/Express with MongoDB, added server-side price validation, wired up Stripe with webhook-based order syncing, and integrated WhatsApp ordering at the client's request.

outcome

Shipped to production as my first live client deployment — an ultra-minimal, editorial storefront handling real transactions end to end.

UniRide-CTMS Platform

UniRide-CTMS — Campus Transport, Rebuilt

Apr 2026 – Jun 2026 · Lead system architect · Team of 4
challenge

Take a first-semester prototype and rebuild it to enterprise-grade standards for a combined OOP and Database Systems project — real-time tracking, proper relational design, smart allocation.

approach

Led the architectural rewrite in C# ASP.NET Core MVC, engineering a fully normalized 14-table relational database with Entity Framework Core (Code-First), live GPS tracking over SignalR, a capacity-aware bus allocation algorithm, and a QR-code pipeline for boarding and attendance.

outcome

A working enterprise-pattern system, coordinated across a four-person team, with real-time tracking and automated attendance running end to end.

Campus Transport Management System

Dec 2025 – Jan 2026 · 1st semester project
challenge

Turn a real campus logistics problem — routes, vehicles, drivers, student requests — into working software, as a first dive into full-stack development.

approach

Built the core backend logic in Python and Flask, and designed the UI/UX layout end to end, while coordinating with a partner on final delivery and the department Open House presentation.

outcome

A foundational milestone that later became the starting point for the UniRide-CTMS enterprise rewrite.
